BACKGROUND
Indonesia is Country that lied on equator. This country is very tight the relationship with agriculture sector. The soil is very fertile and the condition of nature that very support in agriculture. This country gets name “the diamond of equator“. It mean, we can assume that branch in soil can grow become tree without we take care. So, the biggest potential in Indonesia is the agriculture.
Agriculture that many of inhabitant work in this sector cause 70 % people in Indonesia get money from agriculture. Agriculture that is meant is activity of agriculture in large activity in which every process from planting that have relation with weather , cultivating the land to plant , manufacturing the result of agriculture , distribution the product to people until the quality product can good consume the people. They are agriculture process in large activity. It different with agriculture process in narrow activity that only focus in cultivate the plant in farm.
Because of agriculture, Indonesia become country that is joint in world organization in food broad, that is FAO ( food and agriculture organization ) that as a duty in supply the food world. Until now hunger that occur in poor country is still exist. This is the responsibility Indonesia country as a supplier of food world.
PROBLEM
One of example impact that ignore the agriculture sector is the young unemployment increase each year. Unemployment is caused by the limited of opportunity job that is caused job seeker want get job in formal sector. There are no that brave to work in informal sector.
If this problem still continue will cause crisis in many sectors of life like economic and multi dimension that last time in 1998 had been caused Indonesia get monetary crisis. This condition that hamper the development of country to grow forward in industrial sector. If we still use agriculture sector that rely on agriculture and the young generation don’t want work in informal sector, it will make the condition of this country more and more buried with foreign obligation that more and more.
SOLUTION
To solve on the unemployment case, the government do many thing such as extend the job opportunity that it will absorb many employment. But, this isn’t guarantee the condition of unemployment decrease. Because, analysis prove that the cost to make job area from government aren’t sufficient and it’s too a little.
Based on that, with entrepreneur in agriculture sector will make potential of all nature resources in Indonesia will absorb as good as possible. Entrepreneur in agriculture sector is very potential because to become industrial country, we must finish the step of agriculture first. But, agriculture sector that can’t erase because agriculture is the maker this country grow. So, we must develop Indonesia to the industry of agriculture.
Entrepreneur based on agriculture is the key that can decrease unemployment in this agriculture country, Indonesia. That’s a pity if the condition of nature that has much natural resource do not use maximally by their inhabitant. Agricultural sector that can be applied in entrepreneur are the concept of agriculture in large activity. It mean agriculture is a part of people life. Such as, animal husbandry, fishery, marine, forestry and agriculture business sector.
Many of kind can be applied is the agriculture from upper course to lower course. They are :
1. the process of agriculture product that came from plant the seed
2. the process of sublimation seed
3. the process of agriculture harvest
4. the process of agriculture manufacture
5. the process of agriculture marketing
6. the process of agriculture consume by people
that sectors can develop by entrepreneur especially for young generation that want decrease unemployment in globalization era.
If this is can be developed, so the crisis condition like now can be repaired. With spirit of entrepreneur in agriculture sector, we can decrease unemployment.
